Section II: Sichuan Bonsai Techniques and Non-Genetic Inheritance
The Sichuan School of Bonsai is one of the four major schools of traditional Chinese bonsai, represented by Chengdu and Chongqing. Due to its long history, deep cultural heritage and long history of bonsai creation and development, the production skills are exquisite and have a strong local art style. And now it has also been declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Sichuan Province by Sichuan Bonsai Artists Association of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.
Bonsai Art Inheritors
1, Yi Garden Museum, Yi Garden Art Museum, Yi Garden Bonsai Expo Park and the founder of the new Sichuan School of Bonsai, Yi Wenqing: a passion for calligraphy, painting and photography, since childhood with his father to repair traditional ancient buildings. Specializing in garden and bonsai art and architectural art; under the tutelage of Luo Zhewen, Qian Laizhong ......, etc., garden works include: Chengdu Yi Garden Garden Expo, Deng Xiaoping's Former Residence, Jiuzhaigou, restoration of the ancient fortress of Ba Ren on Serpentine Mountain in Guang'an, and the Huaying Mountain Tianyi Valley Scenic Area.
The bonsai works "Long Whale Out to Sea" and "A Few Storms and a Long Spring" won the second prize of the 11th Chengdu Bonsai Competition Exhibition, and the work "Royal Wind" won the third prize; the work "Luohan Pine" won the gold prize of China's "Golden Horse Cup" Bonsai Works Competition, and the work "Iron Tree" won the silver prize; the work "Flying Springs in Cliffs" won the gold prize of Chengdu Bonsai Art Grand Prix, and the work The work "Flying Spring" won the Gold Award of Chengdu Bonsai Art Grand Prix, and the works "Linshui", "Walking with the Wind", "Mid-Spring Beauty", "Old and Strong" and "Han Dancing Figurine" won the Silver Award; the work "Enchanting Earth" won the Gold Award of "Shu Han Cup" China Bonsai Art Exhibition, the work "Green Clouds Dripping Jade" won the Silver Award, and the work "Parental Affection" won the Hibiscus Prize; the Bonsai Artists' Association of Sichuan Province awarded Yi Wenqing the "Outstanding Bonsai Artist of the Cross Century".
2, Sichuan bonsai master Chen Sipu's heir: Dai Chunhua, a lifelong professional up to 40 years, 19 years in the Yi Garden creation. Main works: "Stacked Jade", "Rongjin Changchun".
3、Chen Tao: Studied under Dai Chunhua, and has been working in Yi Garden for 10 years. Main works include: "Clouds Cluster".
Section III. Traditional Craftsmanship and Non-Genetic Inheritance in Ancient Architecture and Gardens
The whole project is a perfect blend of tradition and era, inheriting the traditional Chinese culture and creating a classic project of the times. The project not only perfectly inherits the three core elements of classical Chinese architecture (1) system: monolithic and group architectural system; 2) material: wood, stone, tile; 3) craftsmanship: carpentry, stonework, masonry). It also innovatively carries forward the core elements of classical Chinese architecture, and is a rare modern Han-style classical architectural complex in China, which has become a landmark architectural complex on Jinniu Avenue.
