I grew up in the mountains and forests, with a love of landscape, flowers and trees, and since childhood with my father as a carpenter, building ancient buildings. In his youth and adulthood, he loved bonsai, gardens, calligraphy and painting, and thus befriended with its artists, and began to collect bonsai, calligraphy and painting, and make gardens. On the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Yi Garden Museum. Thanks to the love of people from all walks of life, they recognized the concept of YiYuan's "urban mountains and forests", and gave me a lot of encouragement and support. Therefore, it is fortunate to have frequent contact and exchange opportunities with many famous painters and calligraphers who are also teachers and friends. This in turn creates excellent conditions for my painting and calligraphy collection. Over the past decades, I have been searching for the masterpieces of famous sages and contemporary masters in Shuzhong, and now I have a certain scale. What is more gratifying is that the contemporary famous painting and calligraphy artists Peng Xiancheng, He Yinghui, Mr. Liu Park, in person to the garden sketching and picking up the wind, and with his disciples to complete the [painting in the Yi Garden] of the theme of creation, once again for the Yi Garden greatly add color. Everyone has a home that they can't go back to. The courtyard with tiles and white walls is the original universe of my generation. If the memory will be hereditary, classical architecture always gives a person familiar with the warmth of the long time in the steel jungle, perhaps a moment of indifference, but the soul can eventually sense the silent tremor.
The "Yi Garden" in the west of Jinguancheng is a low-profile garden, while its location is a high-decibel existence. Jinniu Dam for the ancient Shu Royal Court, is the end of the Jinniu Road, but also west out of the Qiang Road, as of the Tang Dynasty, Gao Pian built the city, east of the dam, there is a called "Xihao" artificial river. Xihao north through the upper reaches of the PI River, south of the upper reaches of the South River of the Qingshui River, which stretches between the occasion of the ferry, can pass the big boat. Now the three ring road side of the "Xihao ditch North Street", that is, for its place name on the remains.
To this day, it is difficult to find any trace of the old ruins of "Xihao", but it is not difficult to imagine what kind of scenic beauty it would have been to climb to the west side of the city tower, with the sails swaying under your feet and hundreds of miles of flat farmland in the air, and the Jinniu Dam with its green forests and mountains as a backdrop.
Architecture is the poetics of living, the space it creates is not a container filled with objects, but a dwelling place for the human body and consciousness. Yiyuan is situated in a strategic location, with wind and water, and the garden is suitable for living and traveling, and its seasonal scenery can be put into poems and paintings. The "Painted Yi Garden" exhibited by a group of teachers and students is a reproduction of the natural beauty of the garden in ink and brush, a pure restoration of the beauty of the garden's craftsmanship under the filter of painting, or a projection of the painter's inner dream?
Ancient carved statues, eye-dotting is the final process. The garden is a place of detachment from the hustle and bustle of the world, which can be a temporary hideout, an occasional shelter, or a private "swaddling clothes" before resting. The garden is not only a paradise given by the dream, but also a place where the dream is enhanced, which allows people to rest their minds and tranquillize the occasion of the release of the body and soul ...... The garden is also the best compromise between man and nature. The mountains and rivers of Xishu have nourished a deep Taoist heritage, and the gardens located in Tianfu, most of them hold the yin and keep the yang, and the size of the pavilions between their platforms and pavilions, the curvature of the straight, high and low, light and dark, the pitch, the virtual reality, the static and the conversion of the day and night, all of which emphasize the gardeners' view of the earth and the sky, and also implies the wisdom of the human being and the all-embracing harmony.
With the spirit of Tianfu, after twenty-four years of Yi Garden is both new and old. Its new, is based on the Shu Qi base, the essence of the North and South of the famous garden, the garden of the ancient precedent; its old, is that its creation is a tribute to the classics, and the wind and rain, moss dipped in the dust stained months and years, the surface effect has been the formation of superposition, even if the head of its messy rough clothing, but also a sunset like the oblique sunlight, low back to the afterglow.
"The Yi Garden is not a monumental garden, and its cultural empowerment can only be self-generated. Once it is deeply integrated with the art of painting, the Yi Garden is no longer a mere experiential space, because imagination is always broader than experience. To this day, no cultural landmark relies solely on its inherent physical experience.
Yi Garden in Painting is a proposition before the brush, which is not only an expansion of the imagery of a specific space on paper, but also an infinite release of the painter's imagination. The brushstrokes, rhymes and colors of the painting may allow people to touch the poetic foundation of the garden space more freely from another dimension.
Life and art are often intertwined. Nevertheless, a true artist does not create as he lives, but lives as he creates. Yi Garden undoubtedly provides an appropriate container for people's memories, and these creators who regard the space of Yi Garden as the old shadow of their homes will have a certain special tone in their paintings. This tone contains a hint of love, which may be able to suspend the passage of time, and lead the viewer back to the house of memory, and place him on the threshold of his dream. ......
